Domino Effect of Rants

I get so frusterated at times over something and then find myself rolling off to another something that I become equally frusterated at. Currently it is my Avon business. I have started the journey into leadership and my first recruit has proven to try my patience at every turn. I'm sure she means well and is trying to get started, but enough is enough. One of the Avon managers in my area asked me if I went into business to make money or to babysit. The thought made me see how much I was having to do for this person. I still have hope for her and try to give her the benefit of the doubt. But with the blah-ness that has gone on with her, I begin to doubt myself over being a leader and even a salesperson. My own goals are not even the minimum of what they need to be. My husband is very supportive though and tried to talk me out of my temporary funk by explaining that a good size customer base takes time. I know he's right. It just feels that by now I should be doing better. On a side note...boo to this lame weather and constant rain. I want it to be summer already so I feel like getting out there to find more customers!

Friends

I am so thankful for the friends in my life. We are able to just call/text each other and bam!, we have an awesome night of fun. On that note, I would like to say that I believe I have a best friend, the kind of friend who I haven't had in a long time. We have gotten very close of the past couple years and I love knowing that we can get together all the time and have fun singing karaoke, baking cookies, playing games, or anything! The cool thing is that both of our husbands are friends too so we are all 4 constantly hanging out. It's great! I love it and don't take it for granted at all. Friends are pretty easy to come by and are great when they are the ones who stick around of the better part of your life, finding the rare best friend is not that common because you can't truely be yourself with just anybody. There's always that composure, but with her I can be silly and wild or serious and open with secrets. Having the group of friends that I have is the best and I'm so happy to have them in my life! <3

The Endless Exercise Goals

So over the past month (give or take) I have been staying on track with my exercise routine. I work out 2 days via my Wii Active and then spend 5 minutes on my Ab Circle Pro and then take a rest day. If my scale is correct, I have lost 6 pounds so far. I want to believe that is so anyway. I like looking in the mirror and thinking "have my legs really shaped up? is my tummy really smaller?". Alongside the exercise routine that I have surprisingly managed to stay consistent at, I have started a low fat diet...mainly saturated fat since that is the evil fat that likes to sneek in and cause mischeif in your body. I have also been able to stay away from fast food which is a fast way of getting that bad fat through food no matter how yummy and tempting it is. Through the curse of weight and wanting to lose it, my husband is so sweet and encourages me to do my best and tells me I did a good job at the end of a workout. He always tells me I look beautiful and that, to him, I don't need to change a bit. Well, as wonderful as that is to hear, I know that I need to keep active and stay in shape before anything gets out of hand. The past several years I have watched my weight creep up higher and higher. Blast you! Why can't we stay how we were at 20 forever?

Personal Reviews of Avon Products

I have bought a lot of Avon products for myself and found that I much prefer these products over what I had been using before. Being able to see consumer's opionions before buying items for yourself comes in handy when you are not sure about how something will turn out. Even though Avon offers 100% satisfaction and easy return process, I have decided to list what I have bought and used and my opinion of each item.

Cushion Walk High Heel Stretch Boot:  I really love these boots! I have worn them out on the town and on casual days. It gives a very classy look and provides more comfort than usual heeled boots would. I don't have trouble getting them on and they don't leave imprint marks on my legs like my other boots do.

Style Play Gloves:  These gloves have been really nice with keeping my hands warm and letting me do my job at work since they are fingerless. The cool thing about these is that you are able to fold over the top to form mittens.  =)

Style Play Beret:  To match the gloves from before, Avon sells berets with the same jewel and color to match. I have the red set of the beret and gloves. I have only worn the beret a couple of times, but it is really cute and I received a lot of compliments from my coworkers and friends when I did wear it.

Timeless Roll-On Anti-Perspirant Deodorant:  These deodorants are really nice and give a fresh wonderful smell that last all day. Timeless is the only one I have tried, but the deodorant does not leave you feeling icky and sticky after using it. Another cool fact about this is that before with my old deodorant I would have those pesky sweater lint that clung to my armpit at the end of the day. With Avon's deoderant that has not happened once!

Advance Techniques Daily Shine 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner:  This shower product is great. I have no desire to switch back to what I used before. Other 2-in-1 shampoos I've tried in the past left my hair feeling tangled and rough. Using Avon makes my hair feel light and soft after I've blow-dried it.

Ideal Shade Cream-to-Powder Foundation SPF 15:  One of my new favorite items from Avon is the make-up. It blends into my skin tone perfectly and looks very nice. It also doesn't run with sweat like some other products. I have the curse of dark circles and I'm always concerned about weather my make-up will help cover those up. This type of Avon make-up really works.

True Color Eye Shimmers:  I love the color this eye shadow gives off as well as the feel of it. The only problem I had was that it didn't last as long as I had hoped. When combined with a powder shadow it works much better.

Skin So Soft Fresh & Smooth Silky Stay Shave Gel:  This is the best shaving gel I have ever used. No joke. It's better than the foam gel you buy at the store and even better than the Pure Romance Coochy shaving gel. It stays on the desired area until you wash it off and afterwards it leave the skin very soft. It also helps prevent razor burn and cuts.

Ultra Color Rich Moisture Seduction Lipstick SPF 15:  I usually don't wear lipstick, but I did try this new version from Avon. I really liked it and my lips stayed moist for the majority of the day. The moisture is woven into the lipstick so it shows a marble look (not on your lips) which is really neat.
Star Cluster Necklace:  This is a beautiful necklace that provides an elegant and dazaling look. It is one of my favorite necklaces.

Star Cluster Drop Earrings:  These earrings match the Star Cluster Necklace and are also very beautiful. I wear these earrings a lot and they can go with anything.
